Christmas morning, California style

Meghan Markle gave fans a first-class seat into her holiday life through an “As ever” newsletter sent December 25, 2025. The Duchess of Sussex shared her vibe for the day alongside Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet. The night before, she nibbled dim sum leftovers, wrapped gifts, and quietly checked “Santa” cookie plates. She kept the Christmas magic alive, standing on her tippy toes so her kids woke up believing the reindeer actually eat carrots.

“Last night, I was nibbling the remnants of our Christmas Eve feast (dim sum this year), wrapping a few last minute gifts, and tip toe-ing down the stairs with my husband to make sure ‘Santa’ had enjoyed his cookies and ‘the reindeer’ had eaten their carrots — anything to maintain the morning magic of Christmas through our children’s eyes,”

Pajamas all day and board games

The mother of two revealed she planned to spend Christmas cuddled up with her family, probably sporting pajamas until bedtime. Her vibe will be all about board games, dogs snoring, candles flickering, and a snack table that will remain full. She mentioned Scrabble and Candyland, meaning this house mixes vocabulary battles with childhood charm. Her message wished joy to anyone reading, no matter where they are or who they are with, finishing with a bold, “From my family to yours, Happy Holidays.”

“I plan to spend today cuddled up with my family — maybe pajamas all day, some Scrabble or Sequence (or Candyland for the kids), music playing, candles flickering, dogs snoring, endless grazing; the laughter, the sidebars, the deep breaths (you know the ones), the fun, and the memories,”

A tradition that crossed continents

Meghan revisited her Netflix special, titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, for the holidays on December 3, 2025, where she crafted Advent calendars and Christmas crackers for her kids. The Duchess of Sussex keeps British traditions alive even though her last Christmas in the U.K. was 2018. The couple spent 2019 in Canada and left royal duties in January 2020 before moving to the United States and leaving the royal spotlight for good.
