MAMAMOO’s Wheein tearfully reveals she almost left the group at their highest peak

Wheein shares the most difficult moments of her career with her fans

In a recent interaction with fans, MAMAMOO‘s Wheein tearfully reveals she almost left the group at their highest peak as she goes through emotional struggles, making her feel overwhelmed by the idol lifestyle.

On August 31st, the K-Pop idol went live through the Weverse platform, where she reflected about the hard times in the industry, and she even said, “If I talk about this, I might cry again,” because she didn’t feel strong enough to follow her dreams.

Even revealed she had thoughts like “I want to quit” and “This is too hard” crossing her mind. She continued explaining that despite the love for her career, it was an internal conflict: “I love this work deeply and want to continue for a long time, yet it was so hard that those words came out.”

The MAMAMOO member recalled the advice she received from Kim Shin Young, who told her, “I understand you’re struggling. Even if you want to quit now, there will come a day when you will truly miss this time.”

At first, Wheein didn’t accept the words of his colleague; she recently understood and truly realised the meaning behind that advice. She continued, claiming she treasured those moments while reading fans’ comments and whipping her tears.
