A few hours ago, Lee Jae Wook announced he will enlist in the army this May, making a temporary pause in his activities in the entertainment industry.
On May 4th, the agency behind the Korean actor, Log Studio, shared a statement announcing the official date of enlistment of the artist in the mandatory military service to fulfill his duty of becoming a soldier of his country.
“Lee Jae Wook will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army on May 18. He will enter a training center that day and faithfully fulfill his duty of national defense.”
However, this won’t be the last time we see Lee Jae Wook, due to his having prepared some productions for fans to enjoy while he is serving his country, like the upcoming drama ‘Doctor on the Edge,’ which premieres on June 1 with him as the doctor Do Ji Eui.
The actor also worked with Netflix on a new mystery horror series titled ‘Dead-End Job,’ alongside Korean stars Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon, leaving fans with much content to enjoy while he is gone.
