King Charles III will visit D.C., New York, and Virginia during his U.S. state visit

King Charles III’s state visit to the United States has become one of the major topics both in the United Kingdom and America due to the current state of the world. However, the King has stood firm on fulfilling his royal duties regardless of the criticism.

The planned four-day state visit comes at a fraught time in the U.S.-U.K. relationship, following President Trump’s frequent belittling of the British prime minister. The King and Queen Camilla Parker will visit more than one city during their state visit, as Buckingham Palace reports.

On April 27, their trip will start in D.C., where Charles will address Congress and attend a state dinner at the White House. Then, the royals will go to New York for some undisclosed events before heading south again.

Surprisingly, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom will visit a national park in Virginia, but which one has not yet been announced. There are suggestions that Charles III will also meet with members of the indigenous community. Despite it remains as rumors, the King wants to leave a strong impression as it becomes his first state visit to the United States since his coronation.
