King Charles III tries “DJing” while supporting the creative industries

King Charles III once again surprises the young generations with an iconic royal outing, sharing with students and artists in Manchester. The King wanted to showcase all of his DJ skills during a visit, making it even more memorable.

On March 16, the 77-year-old Monarch travelled to the Northern English city to witness the impact of the King’s Trust, the charity he founded five decades ago to help disadvantaged young people develop job skills and enter the workforce, including support to the music, film, television and theatre industries.

During the visit, the King toured Aviva Studios, home to the Factory Academy creative training program. He met a 22-year-old Christian St. Louis, showing the Monarch how to mix tracks on a turntable. The student explained that the King quickly grasped the basics, and his brief DJ lesson drew attention and laughter from other students gathered at the studio.

The King is slowly proving that he is being welcomed among the younger generations that might think the Monarchy isn’t working anymore. Ultimately, the King is gathering all the British community, just as he wanted since he ascended to the throne.
