King Charles III had a substantial visit to the United States to strengthen relationships between the two nations during the recent events in the world. The King left an amazing impression on the American audience as he paid respects at the 9/11 memorial.
The Monarch of the United Kingdom, along with Queen Camilla Parker, visited New York City on April 29 with a special stop at the National 9/11 Memorial, where they honored victims of the 2001 attacks and met with families of those who died.
In New York today, The King and Queen have paid their respects at the 9/11 Memorial.
During their time at the site, Their Majesties honoured the lives that were lost during the attacks, and recognised the courage of the men and women involved in the rescue efforts.

Despite the visit being somber, the King didn’t deliver any public speech during the wreath-laying ceremony. The King’s handwritten note read: “We honour the memory of those who so tragically lost their lives on 11th September 2001. We stand in enduring solidarity with the American people in the face of their profound loss. Charles R. Camilla.”
The royal marriage bowed their heads in silence before meeting families and survivors. Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who chairs the memorial, guided them through the site, making it another special moment for the British Monarchy who always supported those in need.
