Despite the tensions Buckingham Palace and King Charles III are facing nowadays with the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the King has continued with his royal agenda just as planned.

On February 19, London Fashion Week received a royal touch as the Monarch of the United Kingdom took a front-row seat at British Nigerian designer Tolu Coker’s Fall-Winter 2026 show. The King was seated on a gold cushion beside Stella McCartney and Laura Weir.

King Charles III appeared composed despite earlier expressing “deepest concern” over the arrest of his brother, stating that “the law must take its course.” The King’s presence in a fashion event became trending online as the Monarchy is slowly transitioning to a more focused new generation’s interests.

Coker’s runway paid homage to her childhood on Mozart Street in Westminster by bringing themes of “improperness” and “blending structured, school uniforms with playful twists.” As a former r beneficiary of The King’s Trust, Coker described the King’s attendance as a “full circle moment.”
