Vivian Wilson appears in “Pinky Up”
Vivian Wilson made a brief but memorable appearance in KATSEYE’s new music video for “Pinky Up,” and it looks like she loved every second of it. The model shows up about one minute into the video and later describes the cameo as “the role of a lifetime.” In comments shared with Teen Vogue, she joked about the wild energy on set, saying the team pushed through the freezing weather because everyone looked too good to care. Wilson appears alongside Saturn Risin9, Mel 4Ever, VHEX, and model Katalina in the short but chaotic scene.
The video builds a bold and playful world
The “Pinky Up” video matches the fast and playful tone of the song. One of the most talked about scenes has member Daniela in the trunk of a car, surrounded by stuffed animals and eating chocolate-covered frozen fruit before joining the group’s choreography.
“We stuffed Daniela in the trunk of a car, gave her Tru Fru, yelled pronouns at the camera, served on said car, and then gave Sophia a sword, all while cinched to the stars and back in the freezing cold,” the model said in an exclusive interview with Teen Vogue.
The video is contextualized at a house party, giving each member a moment to stand out, featuring a bright and kitsch styling with heavy internet inspiration. The overall outfits that the KATSEYE members are wearing reflect the careless and youthful energy of the song. Notably, member Manon is absent from the song and the music video, as she was put on hiatus to “focus on her health and well-being” earlier in February.
Wilson and KATSEYE Continue a Growing Connection
Wilson’s cameo also makes sense because her connection to KATSEYE has already been visible. In 2025, she posted a dance video to the group’s song “Gnarly,” showing that she was already a fan. In addition, Wilson and KATSEYE both attended the 2025 Teen Vogue Summit, which added more interest to this new collaboration. With “Pinky Up” now out and KATSEYE preparing for their Coachella debut, the girl group seems to be on a massive roll. They will be taking over the stage on Friday, April 10, and Friday, April 17. They are expected to perform as a quintet, due to HYBE and Geffen’s confirmation that Manon will not take part in the performance due to her hiatus.
