Jisoo’s brother’s wife speaks out in defense of the idol amid assault controversy

Jisoo's alleged sister-in-law defends her, saying, 'She probably didn't know'

A few hours ago, Jisoo‘s brother’s wife spoke out in defense of the idol amid assault controversy gaining attention on social networks after a series of serious accusations against Kim Jung-Hoon.

On April 16th, the oldest brother of the BLACKPINK member, Kim Jung-Hoon, was arrested by Gangnam police in Seoul after being accused of sexual assault by a South Korean streamer. Despite the arrest warrant being dismissed due to lack of evidence, the investigation remains open.

Following this case, new public accusations surfaced, including one from a woman claiming to be his wife who accused him on social networks of domestic violence. By noticing that these accusations are tarnishing Jisoo’s reputation, she made new posts to defend Kim’s family.

“His sister probably didn’t know. I had no idea who she was at first, either. People kept saying they looked familiar, so I looked her up…and only found out after checking Namu Wiki. So, please don’t criticize her.”

Later, the alleged victim shared a letter where she confessed she did know his husband was Jisoo’s family, explained how she finally discovered it, and asked netizens to stop criticizing them.

“I met him without having any idea that he was her brother. It was only after we registered our marriage and his second daughter kept saying that I resembled ‘XX’ aunt that I looked her up online and discovered the truth.”
