One of the most important couples in the entertainment world are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, and is that both entrepreneurs and important public figures in the world of cinema had a relationship in the past, which was a sensation for all the media. After a painful breakup, both went on with their lives, but what was never thought possible, was that both people would meet again and fall in love proving that in the end love is the most important thing. There was much speculation as to why they separated and now after more than 10 years they have decided to talk about it.
The pair describes how they “crumbled under the pressure” of being in the spotlight. In her latest documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, J. Lo reflected. (Jennifer Lopez)
“Ben and I, we broke up three days before our wedding,” Lopez says in the documentary. “We had a big wedding planned – 14 ushers and bridesmaids, and three days before we just crumbled under the pressure.
“When Jen and I broke up before, the catalyst for that was this massive amount of scrutiny around our private life.”
“I didn’t just feel like I lost the love of my life, I feel like I lost like the best friend that I ever had. And I couldn’t talk for so many years, and that was the hardest part,” she says.
Jennifer Lopez later said, “That heartbreak set both of us on a course to figuring ourselves out and to being better people.”
“Do you think you’ve forgiven me all the way?” he questioned, to which she responded, “Yeah, I think I’ve forgiven you all the way. I think I need to forgive myself some things.”
Seeing again the successful couple, this duet together again gives us great pleasure and the fact that they have already overcome the problems of the past makes their relationship now much more intense and strong so we wish the beautiful couple much success, and we hope they do not have more problems in the future.
