<p>During his presentation in the city of Rio de Janeiro, J Balvin surprised more than one with his reaction, when in the middle of the show, one of the spectators handed him a cap with the logo of Residente, with whom he had a controversial virtual confrontation in 2021.</p>
<p>To the astonishment of those present, J Balvin, without hesitation, put the cap on his head. In the video circulating on social networks, the urban music singer can only be heard saying “it takes a lot of love and a lot of affection” before continuing with his presentation.</p>

<p>However, after going around the stage, he took off his cap and threw it to the audience.</p>

<p>As expected, this reaction divided the comments, as some applaud J Balvin’s attitude considering that it is a way to make peace with Residente, while others think that the statement he made while wearing the cap, was just a way to make fun of the Puerto Rican.</p>
<p>It is worth remembering that the artists starred in a controversial controversy in 2021, when René Pérez recorded a video in which he criticized for wanting to boycott the Latin Grammy Awards, just because that year he had not received the nominations he expected, according to Residente, who compared J Balvin’s music to a hot dog cart.</p>
