MBC’s upcoming drama Perfect Crown has officially revealed the lineup for its original soundtrack, drawing attention for the popular artists featured in the tracklist. The drama’s OST lineup includes BIBI, KiiiKiii, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, HANRORO, WOODZ, So Soo Bin, hrtz.wav, Sam Kim, Im Joong Won of sonlmor, and ALEPH. The soundtrack is expected to bring a wide musical range, thanks to the different artists, styles, and generations. The production and the lineup seem to be building strong anticipation before the first episode even airs.
The series in question is set in an alternate modern-day Korea, where the country is a constitutional monarchy. The story follows Seong Hui Ju, played by IU, a wealthy chaebol heiress who seems to have everything except noble status. Opposite her is Grand Prince Ian, played by Byeon Woo Seok, who holds a royal title but has no power, freedoms, or advantages. The pair forms the center of the show’s romance, mixing social statuses, emotions, romance, and fantasy.
Perfect Crown is scheduled to premiere on April 10, 2026, at 9:40 p.m. KST. The announcement of the soundtrack has added even more excitement to a drama that was already gaining attention because of IU and Byeon Woo Seok playing the main roles in the story. With these two names and a large group of recognized artists joining the OST, the series is positioning itself as one of MBC’s notable releases this season. The show is expected to stream on Disney+ in Western countries on April 10.
