Since 2016, I.O.I has delivered tens of amazing singles and performances that make them worthy of playing a pivotal role in the Kpop scene. Fortunately, the different South Korean music program circuits and the audience acknowledge the idols’ talents and efforts over the years.

On July 13 KST, SBS’ Inkigayo aired a new, exciting episode with amazing performances, including debuts and comebacks. It all started with the solo debut of Keyveatz with “OXY” and VAYONN with “MUAH!”, and an array of comebacks including i-dle with “Gimme Dat Love”, YEONJUN with “Ice Cream”, RESCENE with “Pretty Girl”, AHOF with “RUN TO YOU”, JANG HANEUM with “Is this love?”, and UDTT with “VIPER”.

At the end of the show, the euphoria reached its climax as the hosts took over the stage to announce the first-place nominees of the weekly competition. I.O.I with “Suddenly”, aespa with “LEMONADE”, and RESCENE with “Love Attack” were all competing, but only I.O.I took all the glory and snatched the crown. Congratulations to the girl band on this amazing achievement in their long-standing careers!
