Netflix’s “Kpop Demon Hunters” became a major deal among the Netizens, who loved the soundtrack and the storytelling of the animated film. HUNTR/X became one of the most popular virtual Kpop girl bands of all time, earning No.1 across different charts worldwide. This time, the United Kingdom recognizes once again its accolades.

“Golden,” the major hit from the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack, has gone beyond gold in the United Kingdom. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that “Golden” has received an official BRIT double platinum certification.

According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, the singles that are able to surpass 600,000 units sold become certified platinum. It means “Golden” has already achieved the 1.2 million units sold milestone in the country in less than a year.

In addition, back in October, the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack as a whole was also certified platinum after selling 300,000 units. What’s next for HUNTR/X? Reaching 1 billion views on YouTube, as they have already passed the 900 million milestone! Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Kpop Demon Hunters.”
