A few hours ago, Heeseung, former ENHYPEN member, announced he will debut as a soloist under the stage name Evan with the release of his first individual Instagram account.
On April 8th, the K-Pop idol finally made his first official update related to his solo debut with the release of his first public and personal Instagram account with the user “@h_evva_n,” announcing his new stage name, ‘Evan.’
This account debuted with Heeseung’s first post with four photos of his eye, wrist, hands, and arm and a short video of him showing off his face card power even with a simple look, giving details of the aesthetic of his upcoming solo project.
According to recent reports, the K-Pop idol revealed in a press conference that this new name carries an emotional and personal meaning for him: “Evan is a name I’ve cherished since childhood, one that holds many of my most precious memories.”
“Through this name, I hope to reach fans with music that fully expresses my most honest and natural self.”
Why did Heeseung leave ENHYPEN?
On March 10th, the idol announced his departure from ENHYPEN to focus on his solo career, which has a different artistic vision than the group and requires a level of dedication that teamwork doesn’t allow. However, he will remain at BELIFT LAB to explore this new phase of his career.
