In a recent live stream Giselle reminded fans that aespa has 8 members, drawing attention among fans who are eagerly awaiting the return of this member in their next comeback.
On April 7th, the K-Pop idol went live on Instagram to answer fans’ questions, spoil some details about her upcoming project with Ningning, and of course have iconic interactions that went quickly viral on social networks.
Among these viral moments was when she responded to a fan saying they’re the fifth member of aespa:

Who are the other 8 members of aespa?
For those who don’t know, Giselle was referring to aespa’s unique ‘metauniverse‘ concept, which integrates both human members and their virtual counterparts so each human member has a digital avatar that lives in a virtual dimension called FLAT.
These virtual members are called æ-Karina, æ-Giselle, æ-Winter, and æ-Ningning, while the alleged former member, Naevis, is a character who acted as the link and protector within the narrative of aespa, who, in 2024, officially debuted as a virtual artist with the single ‘Done.’
