From Nickelodeon to Emmy Nominated: Ariana Grande’s “Wicked” performance gets its flowers

On July 22, Ariana Grande officially became an Emmy Nominee, being credited as one of the principal performers for “Wicked: One Wonderful Night”, which is nominated for Outstanding Variety Special.

The artist will compete in the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) category at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards with Dave Chappelle’s “The Unstoppable,” The Muppet Show, Nikki Glaser’s “Good Girl,” and Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour: The Final Show.”

The 2026 Emmy Awards will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California. Congratulations to Ariana Grande on this major nod on her career.
