A few hours ago, ENHYPEN‘s Jay went viral on social networks for his response to comments about Heeseung‘s departure during his now-deleted birthday livestream.
On April 20th KST, the idol went live to celebrate his 24th birthday with fans, answering their questions and interacting with them. However, the continuous comments from fans about the number of members in the boy group drew the attention of the artist.
After the recent departure of Heeseung of ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career, the group continues as a six-piece, but some fans remain clinging to the seven-member lineup, leaving hard comments for the members who are also experiencing a loss.
For his part, Jay answered to these comments, expressing his true feelings but also his worries about his members, asking fans to please stop making these comments in particular in other members’ live streams even if it is their birthday.
“Some of you just keep saying 6, 7, 6 or 7, ENHYPEN is what? ENHYPEN is what? Like, I am okay; I actually don’t care. ENHYPEN is ENHYPEN, like I actually don’t care. I always try my best to ignore that, so I am okay. But don’t do that to other members, especially at their birthdays. I am okay, but please don’t do that to others.”

The idol continues assuring he is okay and that he had a happy birthday. “But I am really nervous about what if other members would feel depressed in this situation? I really am scared for that,” and he hope this does not repeat again in the future for any member. and concluded by saying:
“One thing I want to say is, let’s see the situation. Let’s look around, okay, at what is going on. Hopefully, like, yeah. That’s it.”
