CRAVITY’s Woobin set to star in the “Caffeine” musical

CRAVITY‘s Woobin is currently the front page of every single media outlet as the idol is set to make a grand return to the musical stage, compelling audiences once again with his undeniable talent and charm.

On July 20 KST, Starship Entertainment officially announced Woobin’s casting, revealing he will portray the character Jimin in the “Caffeine” comedy-romantic musical. “Caffeine” has become a fixture in the Daehakro theater scene since its premiere in 2008, establishing itself as a representative romantic comedy.

The story showcases a barista named Sejin and a sommelier named Jimin who share a single cafe, operating it during the day and night respectively, finding love between them. The two-person play places significant emphasis on robust acting skills, which Woobin will be exceeding.

The upcoming role will mark Woobin’s second venture into musicals, becoming the main act of the show and the talk of the town for all the right reasons. The musical is scheduled to open on August 20 at Daehakro The Good Theater. Woobin has also expressed his thoughts on this new chapter of his life.
