BTS has reached another major milestone with the release of their new music video for “NORMAL.” On Friday, July 17, Spotify announced that the video became the most-streamed K-pop music video in a single day in the platform’s history. The achievement was shared through Spotify’s official social media accounts shortly after the video’s release. The video, which was directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muino, shows the seven members enjoying moments together inside a mansion, enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

The video is available only on Spotify during its first 48-release hours, where Premium users in selected beta markets can watch it by choosing the “Switch to video” option while playing the song. Meanwhile, “NORMAL” is the second single from BTS’ fifth studio album, ARIRANG, following the success of lead single “SWIM,” which had a stellar debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Similarly, the ARIRANG album entered the Billboard 200 at number one after its release on March 20. With those achievements, BTS earned their seventh chart-topping project and seventh number-one single in the United States.

The group continues to enjoy strong momentum around the world. After becoming the most-streamed K-pop album in Spotify history, ARIRANG is also supporting a successful world tour. BTS performed at Stade de France in Saint-Denis on July 17 and July 18. Meanwhile, the seven-member team will soon perform at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19 to co-headline the first FIFA World Cup Halftime Show. The boy group will share the stage with Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Shakira.
