BTS expands fan experience to New York
BTS is bringing the BTS The City ARIRANG experience to New York ahead of their upcoming concerts at MetLife Stadium. The special event will run from July 24, 2026, through August 3, 2026, giving the group’s fans (known as ARMY) the chance to celebrate their latest era outside the stadium. According to the official announcement released on Friday, July 10, 2026, the citywide project follows previous successful events held in several cities, including Seoul, Las Vegas, Busan, and London. BTS will perform two sold-out concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 1 and August 2 as part of the ARIRANG World Tour.
The release said: “the citywide project will transform New York into an immersive extension of the concert experience, where fans can experience BTS’ music, storytelling, and artistry far beyond the concert stage.”
Fans will enjoy exhibitions and interactive activities
The project will feature attractions across New York City, bringing an experience with BTS’ music, storytelling, and artistic journey. At the Korean Cultural Center New York, visitors will get to customize their ARMY Bomb light sticks, create stickers, and buy exclusive edition BTS The City merchandise at the Samsung Galaxy Experience booth. The venue will also display stage outfits worn by the members during the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concerts at Wembley Stadium. Meanwhile, Grand Central Terminal will feature The City banners and a station where fans can customize T-shirts inspired by the group.
More events will take place across the Big Apple
Additional activities include a citywide stamp rally hosted by Bank of Hope, Random Play Dance events with I LOVE DANCE, and exclusive collaborations with local restaurants and businesses, including Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and Kim’s Kimbap. Organizers also stated that fans can look forward to a BTS pop-up store, hotel collaborations, and other brand experiences. Before visiting New York, BTS will continue the European leg of the ARIRANG World Tour with concerts in Munich, Germany, on July 11 and July 12, 2026.
