BTS surprised fans on May 26, 2026, by announcing a new behind-the-scenes video focused on their recent visit to Mexico’s National Palace. The South Korean boy group shared the news through an Instagram story posted on their official account. As per the announcement, the video titled “BTS Visits Mexico’s National Palace: Behind The Scenes” will be released on May 27 at 8 p.m. KST. According to official numbers, around 50,000 people attended the event, hoping to see the 8-member team. During that moment, BTS waved to fans and delivered short messages in Spanish and English.

After the palace visit, BTS continued their ARIRANG World Tour with concerts on May 7, 9, and 10 at GNP Seguros Stadium in the country. Following the National Palace visit, President Sheinbaum later shared a photo with the group and praised the connection between Mexico and South Korea through music and culture. Earlier in 2026, she also revealed that she had requested additional BTS concerts in Mexico, reaching out to South Korea’s president, Lee Jae-myung. The head of state replied that they had forwarded the request to HYBE, the boy group’s company.
