Britney Spears just shared a new nude beach photo on Instagram. The “Toxic” pop icon took to her profile to post the picture on February 20, 2026, showing herself naked on a beach. The pop princess only covered a part of her back with a rose emoji, leaving little to the imagination. The image captured Britney wearing her hair half up and half down, looking back toward the camera.
The mother of two has spoken before about her reasons for sharing revealing photos. In her memoir “The Woman in Me,” published in 2023, she explained that taking control of her own images makes her feel empowered. She shared that, after years of being photographed and directed by others, choosing how her own photos are made makes her feel free and joyful. This is not the first time the “Womanizer” hitmaker has posted footage of herself naked on social media. In fact, she started posting these types of pictures following the end of her conservatorship in 2021.
“I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses. But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture, doing whatever I want with it,”
