Britney Spears has received a permanent restraining order against a stalker after her team raised concerns about her safety. According to court documents, Britney said the man had been harassing her online for years and later appeared at her Los Angeles home. Reports state that the legal action followed an incident in 2025, when the man was arrested after trespassing. Briney Spears’ security team also revealed several social media posts they described as disturbing and potentially threatening for the pop icon. The documents identify the man as a 51-year-old named Donald from Louisiana. The “Woman in Me” singer and author reportedly said she does not know him and has never had a relationship with him. Her security guard allegedly saw the stalker at her property and contacted the sheriff’s department. The man was later found at the scene by the authorities, and one deputy later took him into custody. The petition states that he showed unusual behavior during the arrest and made several incoherent comments. Britney Spears’ legal team also said that some of his online posts were hard to comprehend, even though some of them could be considered threats.

As a result, the court ordered Donald to remain 100 yards away from Britney Spears at all times. The artist’s team said one post included the phrase “bullet hole heart,” which sparked concerns about physical harm. The documents also claim he has a criminal history that includes convictions in 2019 for criminal trespass and aggravated assault, as well as other charges and accusations. Reportedly,  the restraining order will remain in effect until 2030, extending legal protection for Britney for several more years.
