BLACKPINK’s Rosé smashes Spotify records, surpassing BTS

Rosé is making serious waves in the streaming world! The BLACKPINK diva just shattered a major Spotify record, reaching 46.5 million monthly listeners thanks to the viral success of her latest single, “APT.” This collab with Bruno Mars isn’t just a hit—it has turned into a global takeover, catapulting Rosé to the top of K-pop, and leaving even BTS behind.

Following APT’s release, Rosé has been hitting milestones left and right. The track didn’t just debut in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 8, making her the first K-pop female soloist to do so—it also climbed spots on iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music showing it’s a real infectious bop. And the cherry on top? The “APT.” music video reached 300 million views on YouTube faster than any other K-pop video, breaking a record previously held by PSY’s veteran hit Gentleman.

And while the BLACKPINK member and Bruno Mars keep climbing spots on both Western and South Korean charts with their bop, Rosé is also gearing up for the release of her debut solo album. Titled “rosie,” it will drop on December 6 , supported by the global success of “APT.”
