“Bad Angel” was released and instantly became an electropop hit
BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Anyma opened up about how their song “Bad Angel” came to be after several conversations regarding music, visuals, and performance. The single was released on April 8, 2026, and quickly drew attention for mixing Lisa’s confident swaggy style with Anyma’s melodic electropop sound. In the first nine days after release, the official video earned more than nine million views on YouTube. The duo opens up about their collaboration and creative process
In a conversation with Billboard published on April 18, 2026, Anyma said the collaboration took shape after he and Lisa met a few times and shared ideas about their artistic direction. According to the Italian-American producer, those talks helped them discover a common ground that worked for the music, visuals, and live performance. Meanwhile, the Thai superstar said she was already a big fan of Anyma’s art and music, so when the collaboration came up, she immediately felt it was the right fit.
“I’ve been a huge fan of his art and music, so when I first heard that, we talked about the collab and stuff and I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it together,’ the idea and everything just fit so well,” Lisa said.
