The BLACKPINK diva takes the stage by storm
In addition to her award, Jennie also took the stage to perform a medley of her songs Seoul City, Zen, and LIKE Jennie, backed by 50 dancers. The performance became one of the most-talked-about moments of the ceremony, with Jennie delivering a visually intense stage that mixed elegance, power, and symbolism. During her moment, viewership numbers shot up to the sky, increasing from 140k to 204k views (the highest of the show). Her MMA 2025 outfit also went viral for incorporating text from Hunminjeongeum, the foundation of Hangul created by King Sejong.
Jennie is still a humble queen, Jennie from the block!
While accepting the award, the BLACKPINK diva spoke honestly and emotionally, sharing that she felt nervous after just coming off stage. She reflected on 2025 as a deeply meaningful year, marking the release of her first solo album and thanking her company, staff, dancers, and creative team. Then, she mentioned the members of BLACKPINK, admitting she feels lonely performing alone and saying she misses them dearly. Ending her speech with love for the BLINKs, Jennie proved that even at the highest peak of solo success, she’s the people’s queen.
