The Kpop scene is back again at the international spot as the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has officially released the list of the world’s best-selling singles for 2025. Unquestionably, BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s smash song, “APT,” is going to be there.

BLACKPINK Rosé and Bruno Mars’s collaboration single “APT” placed at No.1 spot on the 2025 IFPI Global Single Chart. This is a huge achievement for a Kpop artist in history, as she becomes the first Kpop artist in IFPI history to snag the top spot on the global single chart of the year.

Now, Rosé joins major industry names including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Teddy Swing, HUNTR/X, Kendrick Lamar, Gracie Abrams, and SZA. This is only a reminder that the Kpop music is becoming an emergent force in the global market as the idols are now promoting their music overseas. Congratulations to BLACKPINK’s Rosé!
