That appearance was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and many fans had waited years to see the group finally take over the stage at the festival. Since then, the Big Bang has changed from a four-member team to a three-member unit. The 2026 Coachella performance will feature members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. For the past five years, fans have also hoped for a surprise appearance from former member T.O.P. However, his recently released album and negative comments about returning to idol life make it unlikely.
