Beyoncé made a surprising revelation during her interview with Harper’s Bazaar, which aired this Tuesday, August 9th. The 39-year-old singer, who appears on the cover of the magazine’s September issue, turned out to be an expert in the use of CBD (cannabidiol) and began growing it exclusively on a farm.

In search of alternatives to combat the fatigue and stress caused by a busy stage life, Beyoncé said she has experienced the benefits of marijuana for pain and inflammation.

During the quarantine, I went from excess to creating positive rituals inspired by previous generations and putting my own interpretation of things. I discovered CBD on my last tour and experienced its benefits for pain and inflammation.

It helped me through the nights and the turmoil that comes with not being able to sleep” says Beyoncé in an excerpt from the interview.

According to the singer, the results were so positive that she decided to grow the herb on a farm. There, she also focuses on creating honey.

I found healing properties in honey that benefit me and my children. And now I’m building a honey and marijuana farm.

I even have hives on my roof! And I am very happy that my children have the example of these rituals from me.

One of my most rewarding moments as a mother was when one day I found Blue in the bathtub with her eyes closed, using concoctions that I had created and taking time for her to relax and be at peace. I have a lot to share… and there is more to come!

“, concluded the singer.

It should be remembered that Beyoncé has a great influence from Jay-Z, who is now the largest marijuana producer in California, in the United States. In November 2020, the rapper launched the Monogram Cannabis brand, aimed at creating products with CBD substances.
