In a recent updates, Bad Bunny‘s ‘DtMF‘ became the first all-Spanish solo single to reach #1 on the Hot 100 continue making history for his genre and culture in the most important music charts worldwide.
On February 17th, the Billboard Hot 100 was updated, announcing ‘DtMF’ as #1 after this song was the closure for his Super Bowl Halftime Show, marking the second time the singer topped the chart after ‘I Like It‘ with Cardi B and J Balvin.
Bad Bunny also becomes the fourth all-Spanish-language song to hit #1 in Hot 100 history, followed by ‘La Bamba,’ Los Lobos (1987); ‘Macarena‘ (Bayside Boys Mix), Los Del Rio (1996); and ‘Despacito,’ Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber (2017).
After its release, ‘DtMF’ reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2025, but now it leads the Top 10 that also includes ‘Baile Inolvidable‘ in the second place, ‘Nuevayol‘ in the fifth spot, and ‘Tití me preguntó‘ at number 7, these three also being played during their Super Bowl performance.
