This voice-acting role marks a special moment for the singer, because Bad Bunny has openly shown his love for Toy Story in the past. During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, the “Baile Inolvidable” hitmaker entertained fans by creating homemade videos inspired by the Pixar films. He used action figures of characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, and Forky, creating funny clips and sharing them on social media. The videos became popular among his fans, who enjoyed his playful voice acting and creativity during those tough times.

Toy Story 5 is only one part of Bad Bunny’s growing list of acting projects. Over the last few years, he has appeared in several films, mixing both movies and music. He worked alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2 and also acted with Austin Butler in Caught Stealing, directed by Darren Aronofsky. In addition, the “Alambre Púa” singer is preparing for a leading role in Porto Rico, a future movie directed by René Pérez Joglar, also known as Residente.
