It’s no longer just a rumor. After nearly a decade together, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially ended their relationship. Following weeks of rumors, reps for the pair confirmed the news, explaining that the two have been shifting their dynamic for months to focus fully on co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove. According to the statement, they will still be seen together as a family, with their shared priority being their daughter.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter [Daisy Dove] with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Their love story began in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party and had its fair share of highs and lows. They briefly split in 2017 but reunited not long after. Then, they made headlines with their Valentine’s Day proposal in 2018. Despite their engagement, the couple never tied the knot.

In August 2020, they welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove, announcing the happy news through UNICEF, where both serve as Goodwill Ambassadors. Since 2020, they’ve embraced parenthood and have been seen happily together, until breakup rumors started swirling in June 2025. By June 28, media outlets confirmed that both stars had decided to rent out their Montecito mansion. After that, it was reported that Katy Perry seemingly skipped Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding on June 27 to avoid encountering Orlando Bloom. However, sources clarified that she was never attending in the first place, as her focus is her Lifetimes Tour, which had landed in Australia at the time.
