Netflix’s “Kpop Demon Hunters,” the new animated film, has taken the film charts by storm, for its great plot and great soundtrack. The idol group in the movie may be fictional, but their worldwide performance charts are all too real!
This week, the UK’s Official Charts has announced that one of the songs from “Kpop Demon Hunters” has entered its Official Singles Chart, which ranks the most popular songs in the United Kingdom in a week.
HUNTR/X’s song “Golden” (sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) has just landed in the No. 93 spot on the Official Singles Chart for the week of June 26 to July 2. The song is escalating quickly in popularity on different social media, and it is expected to rise even more in the upcoming weeks.
In addition, multiple songs from the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack also made the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart this week. On the Official Singles Sales Chart, “Golden” debuted at No. 40, followed by HUNTR/X’s “What It Sounds Like” at No. 44, HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” at No. 61, fictional boy group Saja Boys’ “Your Idol” at No. 72, characters Rumi and Jinu’s duet “Free” at No. 84, and Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” at No. 92.
