Beyoncé faced a scary moment during her June 28 concert at Houston’s NRG Stadium when her stage car prop malfunctioned, and it happened mid-air! Performing “16 Carriages” inside a red convertible that was suspended above the crowd, Queen Bey found herself dangerously in the air as the car lost stability. She then told the crew, “Stop, stop, stop,” as fans worried for her.

Wearing a safety harness and holding onto a cable, Beyoncé kept her cool while suspended high above the stadium. After a brief pause, she smiled at the crowd and said, “Thank y’all for your patience.” The car was eventually lowered and leveled, and Beyoncé climbed back into position like nothing happened.

Later, she addressed the incident, telling fans, “If ever I fall, I know y’all would catch me.” Talk about a sweet queen! The cause of the malfunction hasn’t been revealed by her team, and Beyoncé herself hasn’t mentioned the incident at all. Meanwhile, the Cowboy Carter Tour will carry in Washington, Atlanta, and Las Vegas on the following dates.
