The Kpop fandom is finally having a great representation in the new Netflix animated series, “Kpop Demon Hunters,” a story that blends the perfect vocals with such smooth moves to fight against the bad ones. Of course, it will become a hit in South Korea!
Since the film was released, the K-Netizens have warmly welcomed the movie because of its intriguing plot and marvelous soundtrack. Ultimately, “Kpop Demon Hunters” claimed the number 1 spot on Netflix Korea and remains at the top of Netflix’s global charts.
The show centers around HUNTR/X, a Kpop girl group with three members who lead double lives: pop idols and secret demon hunters. The climax of the story is reached once the rival boy group, Saja Boys, is revealed to be a demonic faction disguised as idols.
On June 24, FlixPatrol reported that “Kpop Demon Hunters” recorded a viewing score of 781 on June 23, maintaining its position as the No. 1 most-watched film on Netflix globally. Now, the film has widened the gap with the second-ranked film, “Straw,” which is currently holding a viewing score of 565.
