Prince Harry’s long-standing feud with Prince William, King Charles III, and the rest of the Royal Family might be coming to an end. The Duke of Sussex reportedly extended an olive branch to the members of the British crown by inviting them to the 2025 Invictus Games.
On June 22, the Mail on Sunday reported that Prince Harry is keen for a reconciliation with the King and other senior Royals. It was also reported that the Prince will email the invitation later this month, followed by a formal invitation.
The invitation to the games was early, given that King Charles III is known to draw up his schedule up to three years in advance. This could reduce the chances of not attending, and iron out their differences once and for all.
The royal commentator, Katie Nicholl, mentioned the ongoing news indicating that this could be the perfect time for King Charles III to rebuild his relationship with Prince Harry and, subsequently, with his grandchildren.
“The King absolutely wants a relationship with his youngest son and with his grandchildren. He has an incredible capacity for forgiveness and he wants to be magnanimous in all of this and therefore, there’s certainly a possibility that the King might consider attending Invictus.”
