Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, best known for playing Lily Tucker-Pritchett on Modern Family, just had a full-circle moment! The 18-year-old came out as bisexual in the cutest, most iconic way possible. On Monday, June 16, she posted a TikTok-style video to Instagram, lip-syncing a memorable line from the show where her younger self once said, “No I’m not, I’m gay, I’m gay!” She added a caption that said, “People keep joking so much abt me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi),” and topped things off with a cheeky “Happy Pride Month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe.”

Fans quickly showered her with love and Pride vibes, and many joked about how proud Mitchell and Cam (her on-screen dads) would be. Anderson-Emmons joined Modern Family back in 2011 when she was just 4 years old, sticking with the hit sitcom through to its final season in 2020. It’s safe to say she made a big impression as one of TV’s sassiest kids!

Now 18, she’s also stepping into the indie-pop world under the name Frances Anderson. Her debut single, “Telephones and Traffic,” dropped on May 23, and her follow-up track, “Don’t Forget Me,” arrives June 27. From child star to indie queen, Anderson-Emmons is clearly ready to shine, bi pride included.
