Although Ari has been a top fan pick for Meg since the remake was announced, she set the record straight, saying, “It’s never been an actual discussion.” But instead of brushing it off, she gave the mic to someone else: Elizabeth Gillies. “She’s brilliant,” Ariana gushed. “That would be a fantastic role for her.” And let’s be honest, anyone who watched Victorious knows Liz’s edgy vibes as Jade West would translate perfectly to Meg’s sarcastic and sultry personality.
