BTS’ Jin is opening up about life outside his comfort zone. In a new behind-the-scenes video posted on June 15 on BANGTANTV, fans got a sneak peek at Jin prepping for his live performance of Loser, his duet with YENA. While the video was full of light-hearted moments, Jin kept it real about how tough it is performing with others who aren’t his BTS brothers. He admitted, “It feels a bit awkward singing with people that aren’t the members. I’ve worked with the members for at least a decade.”

Jin explained how tricky it is blending his vocals with someone else’s, confessing that he sometimes accidentally follows the other singer’s note. “It gets a bit confusing,” he said, but promised he would give it his all regardless of the discomfort. However, fans are absolutely loving his collab with YENA. Loser has received applause for the perfect power mix between this dynamic duo.
The track is part of Jin’s solo album Echo, which dropped on May 16, 2025. With seven emotional tracks, Echo explores themes of longing, growth, and identity. The title track Don’t Say You Love Me even comes with a cinematic music video starring Shin Se Kyung. Though duets might be challenging for him, Jin’s dedication shows he’s ready to grow as a solo artist, and fans are here for it!
