Just hours after BTS’ Jungkook completed his military service on June 11, 2025, a concerning incident took place at his Seoul home. Around 11:20 PM, a woman in her 30s was caught attempting to enter Jungkook’s Yongsan-gu apartment, repeatedly pressing his door’s digital passcode. Thankfully, a neighbor alerted police, who quickly arrested her on the spot.

The woman, a Chinese citizen, later confessed her motives to police on June 12. She revealed she had traveled all the way from China specifically to see Jungkook after his military discharge, driven by fan behavior rather than malicious intent. The incident has sparked major concern among BTS’ fans, also known as ARMY, who are now calling for stronger protective measures to safeguard idols from these types of fans.

While Jungkook is safe and sound and his agency has not yet made a public statement, police are continuing their investigation. They’re digging into the woman’s travel history, online activity, and possible past stalking attempts. On the bright side, the BTS squad is almost all back together, with Suga being the only remaining member to be discharged on June 21.
