BLACKPINK is officially back in action! On June 9, it was reported that our queens, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, wrapped up filming their brand-new music video in Seoul. YG Entertainment later confirmed the news, saying the shoot began June 6 and involved a famous overseas director. They promised this would be another “iconic” visual moment for the group, setting the stage for their first group comeback in nearly three years.
YG Entertainment confirms BLACKPINK has been filming their new music video since the 6th:

This upcoming project marks BLACKPINK’s first group album since “BORN PINK” dropped in September 2022. While the girls have been busy slaying solo projects under separate agencies, their group activities are still under YG. In 2023, they renewed their group contract, and now all eyes are on their highly anticipated comeback. The music video is done, and even though we don’t know the title track or concept yet, fans are buzzing with excitement (and wild theories about pre-releases dropping as early as this month).

Topping things off, BLACKPINK’s world tour, DEADLINE, kicks off in July at Goyang Stadium. The schedule hints at big performances through fall, with more show dates expected to be announced. Nothing’s been officially confirmed, but BLINKs are watching closely. One thing’s for sure: with filming wrapped and tour dates booked, the quartet is stepping back into the spotlight. This 2025 is looking fantastic, or should we say BLACKPINKtastic?
