A co-ed K-pop group with ex-ILLIT’s Youngseo is rumored to be cooking up on THE BLACK LABEL! After launching MEOVV just nine months ago, YG’s subsidiary might be shaking things up with a mixed-gender debut, a rarity in the K-pop scene. Although no official name, concept, or debut date has been released, industry insiders and fans have already pieced together a likely lineup, featuring some familiar faces who didn’t quite make it in other groups.
One big name in the rumor mill is Youngseo, originally set to debut with ILLIT. She famously dropped out at the last minute, then mysteriously vanished from the spotlight. However, she was later spotted hanging out with YG trainees, sparking theories she’d signed with THE BLACK LABEL (or YG for that matter). Though she didn’t join MEOVV as expected, the buzz now points to her as part of this new co-ed group.

Another hot name? Jo Woochan, a former CUBE and BIGHIT trainee best known from “Show Me The Money 6” and the pre-debut team Trainee A. He’s rumored to be bringing his rap and rizz to the group. Joining him is model Lee Chae Won, aka Tarzzan, who’s already dipped a toe in K-pop with a cameo in NewJeans’ “Supernatural” music video. That’s not all—Annie Moon, the stunning chaebol granddaughter of Samsung’s former chairman, and 2004-born dance genius Bailey Sok are also said to be in the mix.
With Bailey’s killer choreography resume (think Red Velvet and Taeyang) and Annie’s elite background, the group already sounds like a dream team. No official debut date has been confirmed, but fans are staying tuned for any updates from THE BLACK LABEL. If this lineup is the real deal, the industry better watch out, this could be K-pop’s next big shake-up.
