BLACKPINK’s Jennie keeps solidifying her status as a solo artist. The idol has reached a whopping milestone and has broken several records with her first studio album, “Ruby,” which is still making waves inside the Kpop industry.
Recently, Jennie’s song, “Handlebars,” along with Dua Lipa, surpassed the 100 million stream mark on Spotify. This new achievement made Jennie’s 9th song to reach the mark, tying with IU as the female Kpop soloist with the most songs surpassing that number of streams on Spotify.
“Handlebars” has joined the group along with “Like JENNIE”, “Extral”, “Love Hangover”, and “Mantra” from the “Ruby” album. This additional record makes Jennie’s “Ruby” the album by a Kpop female soloist with the most songs that have surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, achieving this in less than 3 months.
