EXO’s Baekhyun has made a triumphant comeback with his latest musical project, “Essence of Reverie.” Despite debuting almost more than a decade ago, the idol is still at the top of the game in the Kpop scene despite the new releases of several idols from both the new and old school.
On May 19, Hanteo Charts revealed their data to confirm that “Essence of Reverie” had sold approximately 784,000 copies during its first day of release. This new achievement becomes Baekhyun’s second-highest-selling album in first-day sales, behind his fourth mini-album, “Hello, World,” which recorded around 890,000 units sold.
There’s no doubt that EXO’s Baekyun will join the 1 million club in a matter of days with this amazing release. In addition, the album claims the title of the highest album first-day sales by a K-Pop soloist in 2025. There’s nothing that the idol cannot achieve with ease.
“Essence of Reverie,” the fifth album by EXO’s Baekhyun, features “Chocolate,” “Elevator,” “Lemonade,” “Love Comes Back,” “No Problem,” “Black Dreams,” and “Late Night Calls,” as part of a cohesive musical project which was meant to be successful like no other.
