TXT is currently one of the most popular boy bands in South Korea and worldwide because of their immense talent and charisma. Particularly, Yeonjun and Soobin are always at the forefront of being recognized for their personality, and it shows after their surprise cameo in a weekend K-drama.
On May 10, Yeonjun and Soobin appeared in a new episode of tvN’s “Resident Playbook.” Previously, the idols contributed to the show’s OST, and now they are part of this universe as part of a fictional idol group, HI-BOYZ. delivering playful moments during their short appearance.
“Resident Playbook” follows the journey of medical residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center. The ninth episode focused on Kang You Seok’s character, Um Jae Il, a first-year OB-GYN resident and former member of the now-disbanded idol group HI-BOYZ.
While he is remembering everything in a Karaoke, a background video plays featuring Yeonjun and Soobin dancing alongside him, portraying his former groupmates. Despite the song being recorded by all five members, only Yeonjun and Soobin make their appearance on the screen.
