Jennie of BLACKPINK slayed her Coachella 2025 stage—but behind the fierce set was a serious battle with stamina. On May 7, she sat down on You Quiz on the Block and revealed that her prep for the show felt like a war with herself. Even with rehearsals, she couldn’t run through the entire set without feeling drained.
With her promotions and live performances of her debut album, “Ruby,” Jennie faced criticism for looking tired on stage. But she was quick to set the record straight: her low stamina has always been a struggle, and she was fighting hard not to let it show. “Whenever I had time, I’d play the full 50-minute setlist and run while singing,” she shared. She even sought medical treatment to push herself harder.
Jennie also admitted she usually avoids watching her own performances, but made an exception for Coachella. “Not because it was perfect, but because it was a performance I poured my heart into, so even though it’s a little embarrassing, I still watched it,” she revealed. On the touring front, Jennie is set to reunite with BLACKPINK and being their world tour later this year.
