BLACKPINK’s Jennie has been making waves since the release of her first studio album, “Ruby.” The idol opted to showcase all of her talents in a diversity of genres throughout the album, and all of her efforts paid off.
On March 16, local time, Billboard announced that Jennie had entered its Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. This is the first time the idol managed to enter inside of the chart as a soloist.
The idol’s album, “Ruby,” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, meaning it was the seventh best-selling album of the week in the United States. Luminate reported the album earned a total of 56,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on March 13. Jennie and Lisa tied at the No. 7 spot debut during its first week, congratulations!
