BTS’ hanbook designer, Kim Rieul, the mastermind behind BTS’ handbook outfits and iconic fashion statements sadly has passed away at 32. The reports quickly spread online and brought sadness to the boys’ fans, better known as ARMY.

On February 12, a report by The Fact stated that Kim Rieul passed away on February 11. The report indicated that after he visited the apartment where his parents resided he made an extreme decision which led to an unfortunate situation.

Kim Rieul’s family has requested a police investigation into the circumstances of his death. The hanbook designer was highly popular in the Kpop scene because Jimin, SUGA, and J-Hope wore the handbook outfits during their performance at Gyeongbokgung Palace’s Geunjeongjeon Hall on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in the United States.

Kim Rieul’s passing has marked a significant loss in the fashion industry. Those who admired his contributions to modernizing the handbook are completely saddened after the tragic news, just as the ARMY.
