Kpop music has taken over the American market in the last couple of years with the arrival of BLACKPINK, BTS, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids. Ultimately, BLACKPINK’s Rosé is the perfect example of success in the United States.
Billboard just published for the week ending on February 1, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash song, “APT,” rose to a new peak of No. 3 in its 14th week on the Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States.
The new achievement positions Rosé as the first female Kpop ever to enter the top 3 of the Hot 100 including girl groups. In addition, the song also made history after reaching No.1 on the Pop Airplay chart. Surely, the song will maintain stability or even go higher in the United States because of multiple trends on social media. Congratulations to Rosé.
